I'd have to imagine anything imported from Asgard would be fairly costly. Even compared to 1,000 cups of coffee.
[or maybe not. money isn't actually something loki spends a huge amount of time thinking about. it's more an aura of expensiveness than a practical point.
besides, all this is hardly the point. the point is that it's easier not to wallow when he's here (and maybe, just a little, to keep basking in the sensation of being some flavor of a favorite).
